Hello everybody, my name is Joel Haro I am from Trujillo-Perú, the city of the eternal spring and I´m 21 years old. I have lived all my life in Trujillo, my family is very small I only have one brother and he is the oldest.

One of my favorite hobbies is the piano, I really like to practice the Chopin songs and Disney songs, I have been practicing piano since I was 15 years old, although I have been autodidactic, now I am trying to enter in a conservatory of music. I also like soccer and swimming.

I have been a member since I was 8 years old, and since I was a child living the gospel has helped me to know more about God and guided me to be able to serve a full-time mission. I served Peru-Arequipa and returned in August 2018. My favorite scripture is Ether 12:27.

A while ago I was working in a telecommunications company because I took a technical course about this, I was in the maintenance area of the HFC network in my city, and it was a good experience, well now by the COVID-19, I am not working.

The degree that I chose was the web fronted because I really like technology, computers and everything related to it, It is incredible to be able to study through the internet because by the COVID-19 in my city most universities have suspended classes and their experience giving online courses is not as good as this BYU-Idaho program, how much we are blessed for the effort of many people who made this course possible.
